Cornwall 1834
This fine map dates from 1834 and is taken from the beautifully prepared atlas published by the brothers Christopher (1786–1855) and John Greenwood (fl.1821–1840) and known as Greenwood’s atlas of England and Wales. The detail of the engraving and the information contained therin were unequalled.
There is an inset featuring the Isles of Scilly, a fascinating portrayal of St. Michael’s Mount and a list of The Hundreds; a land measurement of the time, is also worthy of note.
Available in three sizes: Large: 24″ x 31″ (78.7 x 61cms) Medium: 18″ x 24″ (45.5 x 61cms) Small: 19.5″ x 14″ (49.5 x 35.5cms)
