A word about quality . . .

These exceptional fine art reproduction maps are created individually to your order using a state of the art patented printing process known as “giclée”, being the French word meaning “to spray”. Using the highest levels of precision available, the process delivers a fine stream of ink in 12 separate colours to saturate the fibres of our specially sourced 190gsm paper. Produced in the UK by a specialist manufacturer using pure materials pressed with natural woollen felts within a traditional mould machine. This now quite rare process produces a beautiful randomly textured sheet of paper that imparts the very feel of an old document.

It also guarantees extraordinary archival properties, meeting the highest industry standards regarding density, colour gamut, colour graduation and image sharpness. This results in pure, accurate colour and fine detail. We invest in the finest quality inks which result in colours remaining accurate (the archival period) for some 100 years or more. This combination means that your Map is guaranteed to pass or exceed museum quality standards, thus representing a genuine investment to grace your home or office, that you can rest assured will be admired and enjoyed long into the future.
